Born this way

All around the world, people are judged because of factors they are born with like skin color, gender, disability and family history. In my opinion, judging people on what they can’t change is wrong; it’s like stopping someone because they are who they are.
A good example of discrimination on one of these factors is the long apartheid done to people with a dark skin color; many countries treated these people as slaves, criminals and even invaluable citizens. The famous case of Rosa Parks was when she refused to give up her seat after the white “section’ of a bus was full. Parks was charged with a violation of segregation law although technically she had not taken a white-only seat; she had been in a colored section. George Floyd is another case, who was treated unlawfully by police eventually leading to a brutal death. These two cases are still utterly disturbing the black community making a burst of protests.
People like Nelson Mandela are leaders of protests and even advocate for black rights. For a long period of time, colored people didn’t have voting rights and were easily removed from their homes. These things shocked me knowing that how people could easily make colored people abandon their forever family homes, how they left people homeless for their selfish need of more land. Abraham Lincoln stopped slavery, slavery of the black community was a big thing since 1444 A.D, and is now abolished all around the world. Slavery is very harsh, people could literally own slaves and buy and sell them like objects, and such harassment to common people in humanity is very disrespecting.
Now all around the world, the colored community has restored its rights and still has harassments of its community, to lower the chances of such disrespect, we should teach every new citizen to accept and appreciate the people of its society without casting a biased eye at any group of similarity. Another solution is to have reserved seats in the government and schools. From the view of me , all people of any creed , color , gender , disability are unique , diverse and beautiful , let’s start accepting ! Let’s start appreciating!
